Finitive is a private credit financial technology company that is using its technology-enabled platform to provide access to private credit deals for institutional investors and capital to borrowers.

Finitive is an intelligent credit marketplace built for the purpose of making private credit transactions fast, easy and accessible. Using the company’s platform, institutional investors can access a multi-trillion-dollar market of private credit opportunities across multiple asset classes and structures, including specialty finance, online lending, marketplace lending and private credit funds. Meanwhile, through Finitive, borrowers can gain efficient access to capital via a global network of investors who are actively allocating to private credit.

Finitive has really embraced innovation via its artificial intelligence-backed marketplace matching tools, enabling investors and borrowers to save time via automated, relevant connections, aligning borrowing needs with investment criteria.

In the last six months, Finitive has bolstered its team and expanded its offerings to continue improving its ability to serve the private credit marketplace. In November, the firm hired Jon Burlinson as chief information officer and Joshua Masia as chief product officer and followed that up by adding Steve Yampolsky as head of engineering, Chris Benjamin as principal software architect and Todd Stokes as its chief data officer in December. Not stopping there, Finitive formed a new intellectual property finance group in April of this year, with Joshua Meltzer joining the firm to lead the new group.

The IP finance group will focus on IP litigation funding and IP-based lending and royalty finance, among several other types of IP investment. It will also pursue situations where Finitive’s technology and extensive investor network can lower transaction costs and unlock value to market participants, leveraging the firm’s data and machine learning copiabilities to match opportunities with capital sources across a range of IP-related asset categories and structures.
