Virginia Commonwealth Bank has hired Bill Bien as senior vice president, Commercial Banking. In this role, Bien’s responsibility will be developing commercial banking relationships in the Richmond region by helping businesses increase their probability of success.

Bien joins Virginia Commonwealth Bank with 35 years of banking experience specializing in both retail and commercial banking in the Richmond region. Bien most recently served as senior vice president in commercial banking with Park Sterling Bank after spending more than 14 years with First Capital Bank, which Park Sterling Bank recently acquired.
