Lisa Stevens, Regional Banking executive for the Western Region, has decided to leave Wells Fargo after a 29-year career. Stevens will depart in late October.

Stevens began her career with Wells Fargo in 1989. She currently oversees 24 states in the West and Midwest and has responsibility for more than 2,500 branches and nearly 33,000 team members serving consumers and small businesses.

In March 2017, she took on expanded responsibilities in the Community Bank, co-leading the national branch network. Prior to her current role, she led the Pacific Midwest region for Community Banking and served as the head of Small Business. During her time leading Small Business, Stevens launched the company’s first online small business loan product, FastFlex Small Business Loan.

“I respect Lisa’s decision to leave Wells Fargo after her 29-year career with the company,” said Mary Mack, head of Consumer Banking. “I am grateful to Lisa for her leadership across the Community Bank. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about serving our customers, our team members, and our communities.”

“I have spent my career at Wells Fargo, and it’s been a rewarding journey,” said Stevens. “It has been an honor and a privilege to work with such a talented group of dedicated team members.”

Don Pearson, lead region president for the Desert Mountain region and a 16-year veteran of Wells Fargo, will serve in Stevens’ place in the interim until a new, permanent leader is selected.
