Corporate turnaround advisor Lawrence Perkins announced the launch of Sierra Constellation Partners (SCP), an interim management and advisory firm to middle-market companies facing financial restructurings, or operational and ownership transitions. SCP is based in Los Angeles and is supported by a team of eight professionals, including senior executives John Barger, Timothy Hassenger, Karl Pearson, Reece Fulgham and David McCarthy.

SCP develops and executes strategies for companies across industries during times of volatility and change. Its core offerings include interim C-level management, advisory services, strategic investment advisory and direct investments. The firm represents middle-market companies as well as their management teams, board members, private equity sponsors, lenders, creditors and hedge funds. SCP also serves as a fiduciary.

“I am pleased to announce the opening of Sierra Constellation Partners,” said Perkins, the firm’s chief executive officer. “Our team is comprised of experienced business managers equipped with the operational skills and experience necessary to rapidly implement solutions for companies facing various challenges. Our team has worked together for more than 10 years. Over that time, we have successfully led more than 100 turnaround or restructuring situations, creating long-term improvements that drive value well into the future. We are also well positioned to invest in companies seeking a dramatic change in their performance.”

Before co-founding SCP, Perkins was senior managing director and regional leader of Conway MacKenzie. He joined Conway MacKenzie in 2010 when Conway MacKenzie acquired El Molino Advisors, a firm that Perkins founded in January 2007. Perkins has also provided consulting services through Alvarez & Marsal, Nightingale & Associates and Arthur Andersen, three firms in the operational turnaround industry.
