Balaji Krishna, senior vice president, head of Sales at Opus Bank, was promoted to executive vice president, chief banking officer and head of Sales. He has also been named a member of Opus’ executive committee.

Krishna, a 17-year banking veteran, joined Opus in December 2010.

Prior to joining Opus Bank, Krishna held various roles across increasing areas of responsibility including overseeing business development and treasury management sales, retail banking and sales management at community banks in Southern California, including at Commercial Capital Bank. From 2001 to 2005, he served in business development and wealth management roles in Bank of America’s Premier Banking group and Banc of America Investments. Krishna began his banking career in Florida in 1999 in BankUnited’s Banking and Wealth Management divisions.
