Opus Bank added Peter Hooker, Sheila Emami and Vicente Lopez to its banking team in the San Francisco region.

Hooker, a 23-year banking and finance veteran, joined as managing director and business development officer. Hooker was most recently a managing director with Natixis Securities America in its Debt Capital Markets Group.

Emami will serve as director and client manager in the Corporate Finance group. Prior to joining Opus, Emami worked with food and beverage SaaS company Partender and was a vice president and relationship manager at HSBC Bank.

“We are pleased that Peter, Sheila and Vicente have joined Opus to expand our banking coverage in the San Francisco Bay Area,” said Opus Bank President of Commercial Bank Michael Allison. “Each is a highly regarded banking veteran with a tremendous depth of experience providing tailored solutions to entrepreneurs, business owners, middle market companies and private equity sponsor-backed companies for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, balance sheet restructurings, recapitalizations and growth capital.”
