Oppenheimer made three senior additions to its debt capital markets business. The new hires will be responsible for origination and structuring of new issue debt instruments on behalf of Oppenheimer’s investment banking clients.

The group of new hires included:

Kimberly Boulmetis, an industry veteran with 20 years of investment management experience working for Incapital and Bernstein Global Wealth Management. She also served as the head of DCM’s Financial Institutions Origination Group.

Robert Fischer, a specialist in leveraged finance solutions, also came from Incapital, where he served as head of origination. Fischer previously worked as a senior member of Bear Stearn’s DCM and Global Liability Management Group.

Sanjeev Khurana has more than 20 years of experience in private capital raising, institutional sales, origination, structuring and investments to Oppenheimer. His established relationships with a number of important partners, including lenders and issuers, will help elevate the Firm’s presence in the space.

The new hires will report to John Tonelli, head of DCM and syndication, and will work under the direction of Peter Albano, global head of taxable fixed income, in marketing and distribution of debt investments to Oppenheimer’s institutional fixed income clients.
