EverBank Business Capital hired Ernie Meland as business development manager. Meland will be a generalist for all of the industries EverBank serves.

Meland has more than two decades of proven success in originating, structuring and underwriting secured transactions and building client relationships and portfolios. He joins EverBank from Regions Equipment Finance, where he was a vice president. Previously, Meland held a variety of senior positions with GE Capital including senior vice president, senior account manager and enterprise client manager. He brings expertise in all aspects of loan origination, financial modeling, underwriting and portfolio management.
