Crédit Agricole Closes First U.S. Green Loans

Reuters reported Crédit Agricole backed two U.S. renewal energy developers for a total of $419 million in financing.

According to Reuters, Crédit Agricole underwrote a $17 million facility for sPower along with Wells Fargo, Citibank, KeyBank and Société Générale.

Reuters added the bank served as agent for a $244 million green term loan to Terra-Gen intended to fund wind farms.
