The Capital Garden established an invoice factoring relationship with a do-it-yourself arts and crafts project kit creator. The California-based company specializes in designing and selling ready to use and do-it-yourself hobby kits.

The company’s products are in 5,000 stores throughout the country including Macy’s, TJ Maxx and West Elm.

The factoring facility will be utilized to support the rollout of their new line of interactive DIY arts and craft projects. It is designed to supplement the company’s working capital and smooth out the cash flow issues especially associated with its anticipated large orders.

Cara O’Hare Carr, CEO of The Capital Garden said, “We are proud to join forces with such an inspiring and unique company whose creativity is on the pulse of what is trendy and fun! I particularly enjoy working with smart young entrepreneurs driven to follow their dreams and create job opportunities for others. Their kits are something my friends and I would buy and as a result I really wanted to help finance the growth of their cool company.”

San Jose, CA-based Capital Garden is a privately held commercial finance company that specializes in serving small businesses throughout the U.S. with annual revenues from $1 million to $5 million.
