Burr Pilger Mayer announced the promotion of three senior managers and two directors into the firm’s partnership, effective January 2016. The new partners are Michelle Ausburn, Mark Leverette, Yung Ling, Edward Webb and Dan Winter.

Michelle Ausburn is a member of the firm’s Assurance Practice, with a focus on GAAP-compliant financial accounting and reporting for companies, both public and private, in the winery and vineyard, natural and organic food, craft beverage and agriculture industries. Ausburn has received the North Bay Business Journal’s “Forty under 40” and “Women in Business” awards.

Mark Leverette is a member of the firm’s Assurance Practice Group with a focus on the real estate and technology industries. He specializes in advising entrepreneurial companies, real estate developers, REITs and software retailers on matters related to revenue recognition accounting and accounting on complex equity transactions.

Yung Ling is a member of the firm’s Corporate Tax Practice Group with a focus on the technology and life sciences industries. He advises clients on international and corporate tax issues including global tax compliance, complex tax provision calculation and FIN 48 issues.

Edward Webb leads the firm’s Consulting Practice Group and has over 25 years of consulting experience, including leading teams of turnaround specialists, bankruptcy and reorganization professionals and corporate finance executives.

Dan Winter is a member of the firm’s Assurance Practice and vice chair of its Technology Industry Group. He serves a variety of technology clients across sectors including software, internet media and SaaS, telecommunications, intellectual property, semiconductor and life science.
