Capgemini appointed Anirban Bose head of its Financial Services Global Strategic Business Unit. Bose succeeds Thierry Delaporte, who has taken on the role of COO for the group.

Kartik Ramakrishnan will replace Bose in his previous role as head of Capgemini’s Banking and Capital Markets Business Unit.

Between 2007 and 2015, Bose led Capgemini’s Banking Business Unit, which serves 12 of the world’s top 15 banking and financial services organizations, with teams spread across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, Bose served as executive vice president at Kanbay before its 2007 acquisition by Capgemini. At Kanbay, he drove development of the company’s credit services practice and led global delivery. He also steered Kanbay’s banking business unit, which offered strategic consulting to multiple global brands.
