Arch Coal Completes, Amends Credit Facilities

Arch Coal closed its previously announced $375 million senior unsecured notes and $250 million incremental secured term loan. The company intends to use the net proceeds from these financings for general corporate purposes. Arch also amended its senior secured revolving credit facility.

Court Approves Liquidation of Hostess

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert Drain of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the District of Southern New York approved the liquidation of Hostess Brands after mediation between the company and the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco and Grain Millers Union failed, a Bloomberg article reported.
