GE Extends Strategic Relationship With Nanosonics

GE announced a $7.5 million investment in Australian-based Nanosonics, developer of technology for infection control, to further develop and distribute Trophon EPR, an ultrasound transducer disinfecting system. The investment is being made through the GE healthymagination Fund.

Tree Island Completes Renewal of Facility With WFCF Canada

Tree Island Wire Income Fund has renewed its senior banking facility with Wells Fargo Capital Finance Corporation Canada as agent for the Canadian and U.S. lenders. The four-year senior secured banking facility has been increased from $35 million to $40 million and now matures on June 11, 2016.

GE Capital CEO Sees Pressure in Europe

The Wall Street Journal reported that at an investor conference, GE Capital CEO Mike Neal forecasted an increase in pressure on the unit’s European operations, but said it is prepared as economic conditions worsen on the Continent.
