Greg Carpenter of Alterna Capital Solutions, a specialty and alternative financier to small businesses, joined the newly formed advisory board for a private equity fund from Alterna Equity Partners (AEP), an affiliate of Alterna Capital Solutions. In this advisory role, Carpenter will serve the fund by providing guidance on investment strategy, exploring new opportunities through an expanded network and sharing insights from his experience in alternative and institutional financing.
“I’m honored to join AEP’s board,” Carpenter said. “Rob [Konrad] has proven his keen abilities to identify healthy founder-owned and family-owned companies and nurture them into high-value assets. I’m eager to share my expertise and contribute to the fund’s success.”

Carpenter is an executive vice president and managing partner at Alterna Capital Solutions, where he focuses on growing revenue and distribution channels for the firm. Before joining Alterna Capital Solutions, Carpenter served in a variety of roles in the alternative and institutional financing sectors, including positions at LSQ Funding, Bank of America Securities and Goldman Sachs.
