BBVA Compass named Zennie Lynch, Jr. city president of its corporate banking office in Atlanta. The bank also brought on board new relationship managers Adam Kessler, Ben Gibson and Benjamin James.

Led by Lynch, the team will develop the bank’s largest relationships in the Atlanta metro and greater Georgia areas in order to deliver the global resources of BBVA Compass to local commercial clients.

“Our Atlanta office is being built into something special for our Georgia clientele,” said BBVA Compass Regional CEO Scott Cox. “We expect great things from this team, and know that their clients greatly appreciate the service they provide as their trusted advisors.”

A 21-year industry veteran, Lynch previously managed a team of corporate bankers focused on servicing the middle-market. He currently serves on the board of the Brookhaven Innovation Academy.

Kessler spent 11 years working across multiple industries, including manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, real estate, asset-based lending, energy and more. He is currently a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

Gibson has more than 17 years of experience and has worked in a variety of roles, including credit, underwriting, asset-based lending, loan remediation and financial analysis. He is a member of World Trade Center of Atlanta.

James started his banking career more than 15 years ago and has held various roles in commercial, corporate and private banking. He is a board member of Wilderness Works.
