Nicole Cangelosi was named senior vice president, head of retail finance group underwriting and origination, at Bank of America Business Capital, based in New York City.
Cangelosi is responsible for a team of underwriters and analysts dedicated to retail ABL and will oversee the underwriting, structuring and loan documentation for all new retail opportunities. Cangelosi has been with the bank for more than 20 years and has significant experience on the new business side of Bank of America Business Capital, with more than 15 years in underwriting and the last five years in new business originations. Cangelosi has worked closely with senior management teams and private equity firms across industries, ranging in size from $25 million to $4.5 billion. In her most recent role she was responsible for coverage across Long Island and Metro NY, primarily focused on large corporate and middle market private equity groups.
Cangelosi started her career at CIT Business Credit, where she was responsible for managing a portfolio of asset-based loans.
