Align Capital Partners Hires Moss and Anderson, Promotes Iodice and Noggle

Align Capital Partners hired James Moss and Angus Anderson as vice president and operations director, respectively. Additionally, Align Capital Partners promoted Matt Iodice to principal and Katie Noggle to managing director of business development.

Moss joined Align Capital Partners’ Cleveland office and will be responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring the firm’s investments. Prior to his new role, Moss was a vice president at RLJ Equity Partners, where he focused on evaluating new deal investment opportunities and working with senior management teams on strategic initiatives in the technology, business services and diversified manufacturing industries.

“James is an important addition to our investment team as we look to deploy more capital and expand our thematic investing initiatives,” Steve Dyke, co-founder and managing partner at Align Capital Partners, said. “His experience fits well with ACP’s lower middle market focus and we’re excited to welcome him to the firm.”

Anderson joined Align Capital Partners’ operating team to support execution of portfolio company value creation strategies. Prior to his new role, Anderson was a strategic finance consultant to tech-enabled services companies and the head of business execution and planning for Erecruit, a private equity-backed SaaS business serving the staffing market, where he oversaw annual P&L budgets, plans and forecasts.

“We’re thrilled to have Angus serve as our first operations director,” Dave Tiley, senior operating partner at Align Capital Partners, said. “His prior experience working alongside management teams in the technology sector brings a unique skill set to ACP, especially as the firm looks to further invest in tech-enabled business models.”

Iodice was promoted from vice president to principal on the investment team in the Dallas office earlier this year. During his time as a vice president, Iodice closed nine investments, including three platforms and six add-ons. Noggle, who leads the firm’s business development efforts, was promoted to managing director in the Cleveland office. Noggle has developed a network of resources for Aligned Capital Partners as she has built up the firm’s origination efforts over the last four years.
