PNC Bank has added three experienced bankers to the senior secured financing team: Eugene Leary, senior vice president; James Clifton, senior vice president and Nathan Love, vice president. All will be responsible for business development and loan origination sourced from middle market companies and private equity groups.

With more than 25 years of asset-based and cash flow lending experience, Leary joins PNC’s senior secured financing team based in New York. Most recently, Leary served as a senior business development officer with the asset-based lending group at Citibank.

Based in Chicago, Clifton joins PNC with nearly 15 years of financial, audit and operating experience and will support business development for PNC’s Upper Midwest Team. Previously, Clifton was director of originations at NXT Capital, originating first lien, unitranche and second lien cash flow debt facilities for mid-sized companies.

Based in Buffalo, NY, Love has accrued more than 17 years of commercial banking experience, most recently as a relationship manager in middle market commercial lending at HSBC.
