Eisenberg focuses his practice on M&A as well as public and private debt and equity financings. He represents both publicly and privately held companies at various stages of growth. He has been involved in planning for growth companies, helping to position them for various stages of private financing and anticipated public offerings. Eisenberg also represents private equity, subordinated debt and venture funds as well as portfolio companies of such funds. He frequently represents clients abroad in their international expansion efforts. Eisenberg works with clients on complex international joint venture, supply chain and distribution agreement as well as complex mergers and acquisitions.

“Gregg is an extremely successful attorney, businessman and a fine leader,” said Kaplan. “Thanks to his strong management and his unwavering commitment to always enhancing client service, we are looking forward to many years of growth and stability under his leadership.”

“I am honored to have been selected for this role and look forward to helping expand the firm’s national presence,” said Eisenberg. “Ira Kaplan has done a phenomenal job over the past seven years. We plan to build on the strong foundation that he has established and will continue to expand our reach through both organic and geographic growth. Ira will continue to be an integral element in that strategy as executive chairman of our firm. Together we will focus on delivering the highest quality of client service as it is essential to our firm’s mission.”

In addition to serving as managing partner, Eisenberg heads up Benesch’s Strategic Planning Committee and is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and a practicing member of the Corporate & Securities Practice Group.
