Mike Fixler joined SC&H Capital, an investment bank specializing in M&A and other advisory services for middle-market companies, as managing director.

Fixler brings more than 25 years of experience strategically advising middle-market companies and their stakeholders to the firm’s special situations team. His expertise is focused on distressed mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and various restructuring processes, including in bankruptcy cases.

Fixler will be responsible for sourcing and leading special situations investment banking engagements, guiding public and private companies, institutional investors and statutory committees. He will also work with special situation buyers and investors on a variety of strategic transactions to optimize outcomes for his clients.

Prior to joining SC&H Capital, Fixler co-led the restructuring investment banking practice at B.Riley Securities and led the special situations group for FocalPoint Partners before its acquisition. Before corporate finance, he practiced corporate and securities law in private practice.
