In a report on the retail shakeout and looming fate of shopping centers, Bloomberg cited data from Cushman & Wakefield and Moody’s Analytics showing as many as 13,000 stores are expected to close in 2017, compared with 4,000 in 2016.
Bloomberg explored the impact that the closures have on mall owners and developers.
