Ares Commercial Finance’s focus on providing creative, flexible and customizable financing solutions to the middle market sets it apart and fuels its desire to expand into new industries, such as its recently launched consumer products vertical.

Ares Commercial Finance is the asset-based lending team of Ares Management. As a part of the overall Ares company, Ares Commercial Finance is focused on providing credit facilities of up to $300 million to both public and private companies in the middle market, including asset-based revolving lines of credit and term loans, enhanced liquidity lines, stretch term loans and accounts receivable securitizations. Leveraging the breadth and experience of the Ares Management platform, Ares Commercial Finance works with borrowers to deliver creative, flexible and customized financing solutions.

During the last year, Ares Commercial Finance provided financing for several companies, facilitating one-stop solutions for sponsors and intermediaries to meet the demands of borrowers’ unique financing needs. Some examples of the diverse industries the company has served include IT solutions, apparel, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food products, agricultural products, auto components, commercial services and supplies, and leased equipment, among others.

Recently, Ares Commercial Finance launched a consumer products vertical. Based on the composition of its portfolio, Ares Commercial Finance identified a need in the market for focus on this global niche. To address this opportunity, the company is focused on offering and arranging creative, flexible and customized credit facilities to borrowers both in this large industry as well as its sub-industries. The new vertical also offers unique resources for organic and strategic growth objectives as well as additional financing needs, including working capital, general refinancing, recapitalizations, debtor-in-possession and exit financing.

“Ares Commercial Finance is prepared to adapt to ever-changing market needs and remains committed to evolving our credit structures to support the evolving needs of our borrowers.”
