Since joining HYPERAMS in 2012, Kat Parker has consistently grown her career with a dedicated focus on business development. Early in her tenure, Parker was instrumental in launching the firm’s auction operations, but during the past six years, she has also concentrated on serving bank and non-bank clients with appraisal services.

Parker is well suited to business development, as her ability to connect with others is unparalleled. Parker is always willing to reach out and share her experiences, network and expertise with those around her. She is also skilled at creating connections, often introducing professionals who might be able to do business together. Parker is able to forge relationships by always listening and respecting the opinions of others while also knowing how to critically analyze without being insulting or judgmental. Always empathetic and self-aware, Parker learns quickly and adapts to changing situations, maintaining communication at all times. By setting a strong example for others at HYPERAMS, Parker consistently inspires and motivates colleagues, making her a leader who creates more leaders.

Outside of HYPERAMS’ offices, Parker is very active in the secured lending community. She served as the Midwest chapter president for the Secured Finance Network in 2022 and by working alongside the membership committee, increased membership by 50% after the chapter lost members during the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Still early in her career, Parker also currently holds the title of president of the Chicago/Midwest chapter of the Turnaround Management Association, making her the youngest president to serve at the chapter level. She is also a previous recipient of SFNet’s 40 Under 40 honor and was selected to serve on the organization’s executive committee as emerging leader chair.
