Gina Teresi joined CIC Group, a property and casualty insurance consultancy that supports asset-based lenders, borrowers and brokers, in 2014 with the vision to leverage the company’s expertise to reach broader audiences, scale the business through operational strategies and create a workplace where colleagues grow while providing best-in-class service to clients.

After joining CIC and working collaboratively with her partners, colleagues and an outside business consultant, Teresi led a strategic business planning process for the firm. Through a financial, operational and marketing lens, she led the development of operational plans to scale each CIC practice and deliver new services to clients. The business now has three main practices: lender insurance review services, outsourced risk management and self-funding programs. Last year, CIC was acquired by Alterity Group, an independent consultancy firm, with Teresi spearheading the documentation of the transaction and the post-sale integration of human resources, operations and systems. The acquisition capped a banner year for Teresi and the company, as she doubled the number of lenders and size of the staff served by the loan insurance review services practice, introduced a new service for insurance compliance and due diligence and earned the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist designation.

Teresi also has a passion for developing others, which can be seen throughout the financial services industry. From seasoned staff to those new to lender insurance reviews, Teresi is respected for her commitment to ensuring everyone succeeds.
