Christy West has served as a leader in J.P. Morgan Commercial Banking’s asset-based lending (ABL) business during her 18 years at the firm. Skilled in ABL, commercial lending, credit analysis, financial analysis and more, West currently serves as the ABL west region portfolio manager, leading a team of five credit risk managers and four analysts based across the western United States. West manages risk and oversees the overall direction of J.P. Morgan’s lending appetite in the region while being responsible for dozens of accounts and a multi-billion dollar portfolio.

West was promoted to her current role in June 2021 after serving as a credit risk manager for J.P. Morgan ABL’s southern region. In addition to her responsibilities in that role, she also led the ABL analyst program for seven years, serving as a mentor to many junior team members, and previously served as the risk and compliance co-chair for the firm’s Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of Women on the Move, a business resource group focused on the development, advancement and retention of women across the firm.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, West has been in the ABL industry for her entire career, working in roles including operations manager and field examiner before taking on leadership positions. Before joining J.P. Morgan, she he was an account executive at PNC and Bank of America.

Based in Dallas, West loves to travel and spend time with her friends and family, including her husband, Bryan, and two daughters.
