Wells Fargo Securities’ Public Finance Investment Banking group added two managing directors. Megan DeGrass joined the Higher Education & Nonprofit team in Boston, and Evan Levine joined the Transportation group in New York.

The Public Finance Investment Banking group is part of Wells Fargo Government & Institutional Banking, a Wholesale Banking business line.

The addition of DeGrass marks the first Wells Fargo Public Finance office in Massachusetts. A director with Raymond James and Associates since 2008, she brings 20 years of general municipal and higher education experience in public finance and investment banking to Wells Fargo. Prior to 2008, DeGrass worked for UBS Investment Bank.

Levine is an expert in transportation project finance and federal transportation programs. He brings 13 years of experience in transportation banking to Wells Fargo. Most recently, he was executive director and head of surface transportation for the Municipal Securities Division of Morgan Stanley. Before that, Levine was a director for the Transportation Finance group of Citigroup’s Municipal Securities division. He began his career with J.P. Morgan Public Finance.

“We are excited to welcome Megan and Evan to Wells Fargo,” said Peter Hill, managing director and head of U.S. Public Finance for WFS. “Both are experienced, credentialed bankers who will add depth and breadth to assist our customers.”
