For the second consecutive year, Law360 honored Weil, Gotshal & Manges with six “Practice Group of the Year” awards. The recognition reflects the firm’s successes for its clients in 2014 in the areas of bankruptcy, capital markets, energy, M&A, private equity and technology.

The firm’s Business Finance & Restructuring practice won “Practice Group of the Year” for the fifth straight time, being honored every year since the inception of the awards. Also, Weil was one of only five firms to win three awards in corporate categories (Capital Markets, M&A and Private Equity).

Law360 received a record 683 submissions for the series, and selected winners across 26 practice areas. The publication is profiling winning practice groups on a rolling basis.

These accolades follow Law360’s announcement of 2014 MVPs, including five Weil partners Morgan Bale for Banking, Corey Chivers for Capital Markets, Keith Flaum for Mergers & Acquisitions, Ted Posner for International Trade and Marc Silberberg for Tax.
