An article posted on Moodys.com on its U.S. macroeconomic outlook noted that the U.S. continues to recover at about the same pace it has for nearly four years and that the pace of the U.S. recovery has not accelerated as hoped this year.

The report also said federal fiscal policy is the key roadblock to faster growth, and poses the major medium-term threat and that growth will slow again through summer but should pick up heading into 2014. Housing is poised to rebound as pent-up demand lifts construction, sales and prices, the article said.
