Robert Maichin will join Bank Leumi as the new Northeast market president. Maichin will lead the Northeast middle market team within the Commercial Banking division based in New York. He joins Leumi from JPMorgan Chase, where he most recently served as market executive of the Brooklyn & Queens Middle Market Banking team.

Maichin brings more than 26 years of diversified commercial banking experience to Leumi, all within the New York metropolitan area. At Chase, he oversaw the Brooklyn and Queens Middle Market Banking team, focusing on companies with annual revenue between $20 million and $500 million. Previously at Chase, he served as executive director and division manager for Middle Market Banking in the Long Island and Queens division, where he was responsible for delivering a diverse product set to middle market clients that included credit, cash management, private banking, investment banking, trade finance, asset-based lending, retirement services and asset management. His coverage included both public and private companies from a range of industries, including apparel, manufacturing, retail, technology, wholesale, media, construction, engineering, real estate and transportation.

From 2007 to 2012, Maichin was a senior vice president in Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking group in New York. He began his career with European American Bank, where he held several positions in middle market and corporate banking.
