Ankura Consulting promoted Michael Baumkirchner, Mark King, Vincent Mekles and Chad Paulin to senior managing director.

Baumkirchner has more than 18 years experience in restructuring, corporate finance, commercial lending and investment banking across a wide range of industries including retail, healthcare, energy, financial services, telecom, technology and manufacturing. He has advised companies and creditors in highly complex distressed situations, including Lehman Brothers and MF Global. He is also experienced in originating and structuring secured credit backed by aviation assets, marine cargo containers, intellectual property, power plants and telecommunication infrastructure.

King has more than 22 years experience in information technology, business process automation, and data analytics. He specializes in the use of technology and data assets to address complex business, litigation and security challenges with a focus on large scale data analysis, claims processing, and settlement administration activities in the areas of telecommunications, medical device liability and bankruptcy trusts.

Mekles has been working for more than 10 years across the public and private sectors, advising executives and senior management on a range of diverse and complex matters.

Paulin has been developing compelling visual messaging strategies for law firms and corporate clients based upon the analysis of complex data for more than 17 years. He assists clients involved in arbitrations, mediations, and federal and state court legal proceedings.
