Chief Operating Officer, Factoring Division
Triumph

Kim Fisk believes that no one achieves anything on their own and the responsibility to advocate for others is as imperative as personal development. For that reason, Fisk’s focus on creating a culture of empowerment at Triumph is always at the top of her list. She believes business growth comes from ensuring her team has the training, capacity and space to learn.

“My mentors invested in my development, and it is my turn now to continue to open doors of opportunities to team members at Triumph,” Fisk says, pointing to her work with the International
Factoring Association’s advisory board as one way that she shines a light on the nuances and opportunities of alternative finance.

Early in Fisk’s career, she says it was easy to focus on what she did and how she did it. Now, the “who” of her work is much more consequential and meaningful to her. She reminds her team that they are “the service” in financial services and that the work they do directly impacts the professional and personal lives of thousands of business owners, their employees, their families and, by extension, the communities where they live and work.

width=Fisk’s professional goals are tied to two key audiences: the trucking community Triumph serves and the team that serves it. In the trucking community, Fisk wants to see every trucker thrive, which she says Triumph can help accomplish by consistently evaluating and improving the technology and customer experience that helps drive clients’ day-to-day businesses.

Fisk also strives to make sure that more people understand the opportunity that exists in the alternative finance space. “From my own experience, I know the benefits of taking advantage of that
opportunity, and I want to make sure many more are aware of the benefits of a long-term career in this space,” Fisk says.
