The Wall Street Journal reported that federal prosecutors have accused three men and hundreds of accomplices of stealing data from more than 100 million people from twelve companies, including J.P. Morgan and Dow.

The Journal said that historically, this case is one of the largest cybercrimes, which U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara called “breathtaking” in scale and size.

The Journal said that indictments were unsealed on November 10 in Manhattan and Atlanta accusing the men and accomplices of the data breach, money laundering and illegal credit card payments.
