UBS hired a four-person advisor team, The Charles Drew Group. Managing director and financial advisor Charles Drew leads the team, which includes client service associate Justin Hatch and financial advisors Bennett Kavlick and Matthew Tomczuk.

The team will be based at the firm’s Washington, D.C. office at 1501 K Street NW, which is part of UBS’s Philadelphia D.C. wealth management market, led by Market Executive Julie Fox. They report to market director Brendan Graham.

Drew brings nearly 30 years of experience to UBS. He previously was a senior financial advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Washington, D.C., where he joined in 1994. He is particularly focused on retirement planning and leverages his extensive experience to advise individuals and plan sponsors. Drew holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and Certified 401(k) Professional designations. He was named to the Forbes/SHOOK Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list for 2023. Drew holds a BA in economics from Denison University.
