According to the Scottish Financial News, Sallyport Commercial Finance is opening a division in Scotland to be led by Andy Tait, a former veteran of Bibby Financial Services.

The Scottish Financial News also reported that Joanna Cashmore, Kirsty Neely, Allan Dempsie and Michelle Carroll will be part of the new Scotland division leadership team.

Tait’s tenure at Bibby Financial Services included 10 years as a managing director for the firm in Scotland, an arm of the company he launched, according to the Scottish Financial News. Tait also served as an executive director in the northern region of the UK and as UK sales and marketing director for the company, which he served from 1999 to 2014. He went on to work for Bibby Financial Services’ parent company, Bibby Line Group, and GreenAcres Cemeteries and Ceremonial Parks based in London.

Cashmore spent most of the last 14 years at Bibby Financial Services, first as head of sales in Scotland and then as business development manager. She will be sales director for the new Sallyport Commercial Finance division in Scotland.

Neely, who will be the director of operations for the new unit, was previously an underwriter for Sonovate for the last year after a more than decade-long run with Bibby Financial Services, where she was most recently head of operations.

Dempsie spent the last six years as a business development manager at Bibby Financial Services and will be a business development director for the new Sallyport division in Scotland.

Carroll has more than 35 years of experience in the banking industry, including roles with Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Bank and Bibby Financial Services, which she joined in 2016, ultimately becoming a client relationship executive after serving in roles as a training partner and in operations.
