Piper Jaffray named CEO, Chad Abraham, chairman of the board of directors, effective at the annual meeting of shareholders on May 17, 2019. Andrew Duff, chairman of the board, will retire at the meeting, having served 16 years as chairman.

Phil Soran will continue as the board’s lead independent director.

Abraham began his career at Piper Jaffray in 1991 as an investment banking analyst. He was named CEO in January 2018. Prior to that, he was the global co-head of investment banking and capital markets since 2010.
