North American Bancard (NAB)announced the appointment of Rhett Rowe as president of its subsidiary, Capital for Merchants (CFM), a merchant cash advance program that helps businesses get the working capital they need.

In his new position, Rowe will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to his team, in addition to driving profitable sales growth for CFM. He will also collaborate with NAB’s senior leadership to maximize the CFM brand in a rapidly growing and evolving industry.

A highly skilled financial services professional with both frontline sales and marketing management experience, Rowe has worked in the industry for over 26 years and has accumulated substantial analytical, credit and commercial finance experience. His record of success includes revitalizing sales operations, building successful sales and credit teams, managing key accounts, spearheading major business development initiatives, and optimizing people, processes and capital to improve profits and increase shareholder value.

Before arriving at CFM, Rowe served as the senior regional director with Great Lakes Business Credit (GBLC) in Troy, MI, where he was responsible for expanding GLBC’s sales and marketing strategy throughout the U.S.

Prior to GLBC, Rowe served as commercial banking manager for Key Bank in Denver, CO, where he was named the company’s “2010 Rookie of the Year” and won the coveted Extraordinary Leadership award. In addition, Rowe has held CEO positions with First National Bank of Colorado and PMFCU, as well as other C-level positions with Texas State Bank and Arvest Bank in Little Rock, AK.
