LaSalle Investment Management appointed Kristina Heuberger to the newly created position of U.S. Head of Asset Management, effective June 29. Heuberger will report to Americas CEO Jason Kern.

Heuberger will report to Americas CEO Jason Kerny and oversee the asset management function across the U.S. portfolio of LaSalle, which is comprised of more than 230 commercial assets and in excess of 70mm square feet. She will also join the Americas Private Equity Management Board.

“Active asset management is a critical area of our business and a key way in which we can differentiate ourselves by driving superior investment performance for our clients,” Kern said. “We are committed to ensuring this function operates seamlessly and to the highest of standards and I am confident that Kristy will be very successful in her new role. She brings a unique set of skills and experience to LaSalle and we are all very excited to have her join our senior leadership team.”

Heuberger comes to LaSalle from GE Capital Real Estate where she held several leadership roles, most recently, as the firm’s chief marketing officer for the North America region.
