KPMG Corporate Finance announced Mark H. Belford and Robert Glowniak, Jr. were named co-heads of the U.S. Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group.

With nearly 25 years of investment banking experience, Belford comes to KPMG in New York from Janney Montgomery Scott, where he was a managing director and group co-head for Consumer and Retail Investment Banking since 2009. Previously, Belford was an executive director for Middle Market Consumer & Retail Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan, and was a vice president in the Global Retail & Consumer Investment Banking Group at Lehman Brothers.

Glowniak has more than 20 years of experience in food and consumer products investment banking. Prior to joining KPMG in Chicago, Glowniak was a principal at J.H. Chapman Group, where he was a leader in the Food and Consumer Products Industry team. Previously, he was a managing director in the Middle Market Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan and held senior positions at Bear Stearns and Citigroup Global Markets.

In addition to announcing new leadership, the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group was recently expanded to include dedicated Leisure & Wellness coverage. Managing Director Rick Chance will lead efforts for this subsector, which includes sporting goods equipment, fitness & spa facilities, exercise products & services, wearable technology, and cosmetic and beauty products companies. The Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group now provides full coverage to the consumer sector including Food & Beverage, Health & Wellness, Household & Consumer Products, Specialty Retail and Apparel/Footwear/Accessories companies.
