Law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson added Meredith L. Mackey as a partner in its Capital Markets Practice, based in New York.

Mackey regularly advises underwriters and issuers in connection with capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, including high-yield debt offerings, initial public offerings, and other public and private securities offerings.

“We are delighted Meredith is joining Fried Frank as we continue to help our clients with their most complex and challenging matters,” said David J. Greenwald, chairman of Fried Frank. “Meredith is highly regarded by her peers, clients and colleagues, and shares our firm’s commitment to client service.”

Mackey has worked on offerings for issuers in a variety of industries including natural resources, basic industrials, healthcare and retail. She has also advised investment banking clients on securities law-related matters and corporate clients on general corporate matters.

Before joining Fried Frank, Mackey was counsel in Davis Polk’s Corporate Department. Prior to that, she was vice president of the Loan Negotiations Group at Goldman Sachs.
