First Business Bank added Brian McClendon, Brandon Prather and DeAngelou Stevenson as vice presidents for its SBA lending team.

“As our SBA team continues to set records for our company, it’s really all about the number of small businesses we’re able to help as they navigate this changing economy and many competing challenges,” Marty Ferguson, managing director of SBA lending at First Business Bank, said. “It’s an exciting time to add these talented and hard-working individuals to our team. I know they will maintain and grow the high standards we expect for our clients.”

McClendon has financed more than $300 million in SBA-guaranteed loans during his more than 25 years in SBA lending and has been recognized as a top producer by the SBA’s San Diego district office.

Prather has more than 20 years of experience in commercial banking, most recently focusing on SBA lending for the past 12 years.

Stevenson joined First Business Bank’s SBA lending team with more than 10 years of experience in banking and four years of experience in SBA lending. Stevenson’s expertise includes franchise lending.
