Encina Private Credit (EPC) appointed Ian Nalitt as managing director of originations, and Brian White as senior vice president of capital markets.

Nalitt will be focused on expanding EPC’s network of relationships with direct lenders, serving as a first-out lending partner for delivering unitranche solutions to borrowers. Nalitt’s background includes previous roles at Silicon Valley Bank, MidCap Financial, CIT and Credit Suisse.

White has 15 years of experience. He will be responsible for building out EPC’s roster of bank and non-bank syndication partners while leading the syndication process. White’s previous experience includes working at Macquarie and Merrill Lynch.

“These strategic hires will enable EPC to be even more active in the market, increase deal origination and close larger deals, allowing us to become a more important partner to a growing number of direct lenders,” Mike Hensinger, president and chief commercial officer at EPC, said. “Ian and Brian’s expertise will be invaluable as we continue to scale our business and provide best-in-class lending solutions to our clients.”
