Deutsche Bank bolstered its Americas Corporate Finance franchise by adding William White as managing director and head of U.S. Life Sciences.

White has spent the past 11 years at Citigroup within the Investment Banking Division’s Global Healthcare group. He will be based in New York and report to Ross Hammerman and Phil Pucciarelli, co-heads of Americas Healthcare Investment Banking.

“With nearly 17 years of healthcare banking experience, Bill has strong relationships with specialty pharmaceutical, biotechnology and major pharmaceutical companies that will significantly enhance our Life Sciences efforts and allow us to broaden our footprint in the U.S.,” Hammerman said. “Bill will be a great source of strategic advice for clients as they look for ways to respond to changes in this dynamic and innovative industry.”

Prior to Citi, White spent six years at Goldman Sachs working in both the New York and London offices.
