Atmos Energy entered into the first amendment to its revolving credit agreement, increasing its loan amount from $1.25 billion to $1.50 billion.

Crédit Agricole acted as administrative agent, while Mizuho Bank and JPMorgan Chase served as co-syndication agents for a syndicate of 17 lenders.

The amendment increased loan amounts under the company’s existing revolving credit agreement dated September 25, 2015 and extended the expiration date of the facility for one additional year to September 25, 2021. The amendment also retained a $250 million accordion feature, allowing for a total possible increase in the committed loan amount to $1.75 billion.

The facility was obtained by Atmos for for working capital, capital expenditures and other general corporate purposes.
