Clifford Chance elected five new partners in the Americas, as Mariana Estevez and Rebecca O’Brien (global financial markets, New York), Rebecca Pereira (tax, New York), John-Patrick Powers (litigation and dispute resolution, Washington, D.C.) and Matthew Warner (corporate, New York) will all become partners, effective May 1.

The global cohort of new partners highlight the significant strength and depth of expertise available to the firm’s clients across global markets, products and sectors and across a range of areas of real growth potential and risk mitigation for the firm’s leading clients, globally.

“I’m proud to see five of our Americas attorneys promoted to partner with each of them having started at Clifford Chance early in their careers,” Evan Cohen, Americas regional managing partner for Clifford Chance, said. “This is a tremendous reflection of their efforts and the progress they have made in achieving this milestone. Each of them is uniquely connected to their clients and our global network; a key driver in their success.”

“These new partners demonstrate Clifford Chance’s commitment to invest in and promote exceptional talent,” Charles Adams, global managing partner for Clifford Chance, said. “They will help us to focus on areas which will deliver outstanding results for our clients and shape our future as one of the world’s premier global firms.”

“This is a diverse group of new partners who will ensure that we can continue to deliver outstanding client engagement and a superior quality client experience,” Adrian Cartwright, global senior partner at Clifford Chance, said. “Each of these talented individuals has demonstrated their expertise, collaborative team approach and deep commercial understanding that defines how we support all our clients.”
