Citizens appointed Anthony Selvaggio New York City market executive and hired Robert Milas as Long Island market executive and Gino Di Saverio as northern and central New Jersey market executive for the bank’s corporate banking team.
Milas has been serving clients in Long Island for more than 30 years, starting his career at Chemical Bank in 1991. He joined Citizens from Wells Fargo where he held various roles of increasing responsibility that were integral to the establishment and management of the bank’s Long Island market.
Di Saverio has 20 years of experience in commercial banking as a team leader and banker in the northern New Jersey market. He joined Citizens from Columbia Bank where he managed the commercial banking group. He previously spent 15 years at JPMorgan Chase in different roles of increasing responsibility.
Selvaggio has been with Citizens since 2006 and has more than 20 years of corporate banking experience. Since joining Citizens, he has been integral to the growth of Citizens’ metro New York City market. He directly manages a team of bankers with a coverage focus in New York City and its boroughs as well as Westchester and Rockland counties. Prior to joining Citizens, Selvaggio was a middle-market banker with TD Bank.
“New York and New Jersey are very important growth markets for Citizens and I am excited that experienced bankers such as Robert and Gino have chosen to join Anthony and the rest of my team as we continue to further localize our reach,” Rebecca O’Connell, New York City metro region executive at Citizens, said. “It is an exciting time to be at Citizens as we bolster our presence in these markets and continue to provide our clients with support and insights to help propel their growth.”
