Michael Steiner joined Cambridge Wilkinson as a managing director in its travel and leisure division.

With more than 30 years of experience in the travel and technology industries, Steiner has directed the growth of enterprises from $100 million to $1.5 billion and driven B2B revenue with global Fortune 100 and mid-market enterprises. Previously, as partner and executive vice president at Ovation Travel Group, Steiner directed the company’s growth to become one of the top 10 largest business travel companies in the world. He was responsible for global sales, marketing, technology and meetings and events. Additionally, Steiner was integral in the international expansion of Ovation. In 2020, Steiner and his partners sold the business to American Express Global Business Travel, where he served as executive vice president from 2020 to 2023.

Prior to Ovation Travel Group, Steiner served as senior vice president at Direct Travel and executive vice president of DirectLink Technology for 14 years. He also held senior vice president positions at various business and consumer travel technology companies, including GORP.com and Neo Technology Group, previously known as KDS.

“As the travel and leisure industry continues its strength globally, we are thrilled to have Michael join to oversee the sector given his deep experience in the space,” Rob Bolandian, co-founder and global head of investment banking at Cambridge Wilkinson, said.
