Cambridge Bancorp, the parent of Cambridge Trust Company, expanded its lending team in support of its efforts in commercial and nonprofit lending in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, specifically hiring Bradford J. Buckley as senior vice president of commercial lending and David Semenza as first vice president and team leader for not-for-profit organizations.

“The greater Boston commercial lending market is undergoing a period of dynamic and lasting change,” Marty Millane, executive vice president and chief lending officer at Cambridge Trust Company, said. “We’re excited to welcome Brad and Dave to our team of experienced lending leaders, ensuring that our clients can continue to rely on our expertise and support to help their businesses succeed.”

Buckley will be responsible for the development of Cambridge Trust Company’s loan relationships in the commercial and industrial, real estate and not-for-profit sectors. He has more than 35 years of commercial lending experience.

Semenza is the bank’s first senior hire in the not-for-profit space. Semenza will focus on cultivating relationships with nonprofit enterprises in Massachusetts. Semenza has experience with charter schools, independent private schools, college and universities, human service providers and other nonprofit organizations.
