Bridge Bank announced the recent hiring of Matthew Klinger as senior vice president, market manager in its Technology Finance group in the Mid-Atlantic. Based in Reston, VA, Klinger will be responsible for extending Bridge Bank’s Technology Finance solutions to emerging and high-growth technology companies throughout the region.

“Bridge Bank has a substantial opportunity to continue to build relationships with firms and investors in the Mid-Atlantic region,” said Klinger. “I’m pleased to join the Technology Finance team, and to bring my experience to the bank to help it achieve its tech portfolio growth goals,” he added. Bridge Bank opened its Reston office in 2006, and has substantially grown its portfolio of clients throughout the region, where it offers a full suite of commercial banking services through its Technology and Capital Finance banking groups.

“We’re thrilled to have Matt join our team in Reston,” said Alan Spurgin, senior vice president and region director for Bridge Bank. “With his experience and expertise in finance, including leading private equity investments across multiple verticals, I’m confident he’ll make a significant contribution to our growth objectives throughout the region,” he added.

Prior to joining Bridge Bank, Klinger was principal at Potomac Asset Management where he managed private, alternative asset investments in alternative energy, energy efficiency and infrastructure development. Before that, he was an assistant vice president and member of the investment committee for Declaration Management and Research, a division of Manulife Asset Management.
