Baker Donelson announced the addition of Mindy L. Rattan to the Firm’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Group.

Rattan joins Baker Donelson as of counsel in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. She represents banks, servicers and other financial institutions in a wide range of complex commercial disputes and residential mortgage matters in state and federal courts. She also counsels clients on compliance issues and internal investigation matters, and has extensive experience litigating tort claims brought against government contractors arising out of wartime incidents.

“Mindy’s background in the financial services industry, paired with her litigation experience and work with government agencies, makes her a strong addition to our team in D.C.,” said John H. Rowland, chair of Baker Donelson’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Group.

An active member of the CLE Committee for the American Bar Association’s Center for Professional Responsibility, the D.C. Bar and the Baltimore City Bar Association’s Professional Ethics Committee, Rattan counsels colleagues and clients regarding legal ethics issues, including those related to conflicts, confidentiality, attorney disqualification, social media and the cloud.
